The Destroyer will be Destroyed: Ch 33

This chapter reflects what was happening in Jerusalem when Sennacherib laid siege to Jerusalem in 701 BC. At that time Hezekiah had previously looked to Egypt for help and only when faced with destruction did he turn to the Lord for salvation (this will be explored more in chapter 36-39).

How does this chapter reflect these events (also consider what we have seen in previous chapters)?

What will the salvation of the Lord look like? What will things be like after he has saved and forgiven his people?
