Moabites Flee Judgement: Ch 16

The people of Moab have been fleeing from the judgment which has come upon them (15:5-7). They now appeal to the people of Judah for refuge and protection, they do this on the basis of previously being part of the kingdom under David.

What is the image of Moab that we get in this passage?

How does this add to the picture we have in chapter 15?

1. Praise God that He provides refuge for those who flee to Him in times of trouble. Give thanks that His throne is established in lovingkindness and faithful judgment.
