Day 22

Jerusalem: Ch 22

Isaiah prophesy’s against Judah and what will happen to them. As we read through the first half of this prophesy (v1-14), what is happening in and around the city of Jerusalem? How do the people react to their situation? Where should they have turned?

The second half of this prophesy concerns two specific men who have high profile positions in Judah. What are the differences between Shebna and Eliakim?

What will ultimately happen to Eliakim (v25)? How does this reflect what the people of Judah are like?

Today’s Prayer Suggestion:
1. Praise God that He sees the hearts of His people; thank Him that He calls us to trust Him and not our own strength or planning.

2. Pray that God would work through Taste & See when it next runs, to bring people to trust in Jesus.
