The Shoot from Jesse’s Stump: Ch 11

Today we come across the promise of a great leader who will come from the stump of Jesse (that is the house of David). This leader will be unlike any other leader who has come before him. How is this leader described?

What will this leader become for Israel and the nations around Israel?

How do we see this fulfilled in the NT? What are we still awaiting from this chapter?

Today’s Prayer Suggestion:
1. Praise God for Jesus, the shoot from Jesse's stump, who rules with perfect righteousness and justice. Give thanks that through Him, the knowledge of the Lord will fill the earth as waters cover the sea.
