Hezekiah’s Illness: Ch 38

This chapter steps back to a time before the crisis of the previous chapters, to a much more personal account from the life of Hezekiah. How does Hezekiah respond to his illness? How is this in contrast to his response in the previous chapter?

How does the Lord respond to Hezekiah? How is this a reflection of what will ultimately happen to Jerusalem at the hands of the Babylonians?

Take some time to reflect on Hezekiah’s reflections on his illness. How does this fit with our own experiences?
