Day 18: 2 Timothy 4:9-15

In the previous section of 2 Timothy, Paul makes a final appeal to Timothy. He outlines his example (3:10-13), encourages him to stick with scripture (3:14-17), charges him to preach the Word (4:1-5) and outlines the reward at the end (4:6-8). We now come to our last section of the book where we see Christian perseverance in action.

Who is listed in verses 9-13 and what do we know about them? What did Alexander do to Paul?

Why is Paul content despite this?

How should Timothy view Alexander now?

How should we view people who strongly oppose the gospel today?
