List the people mentioned in verses 15-18 and their relationship with Paul.

These people provide examples of 2 Timothy 1:8 playing out in Paul’s life, both positively and negatively.

Who has encouraged you as a Christian in the past like Onesiphorus did for Paul?

How does Paul persevere in the gospel despite desertion in Asia?

In what ways could you ‘refresh’ other Christians and ‘not be ashamed of their chains’?

Today’s Prayer Suggestion:

Thank God for the brothers and sisters who have encouraged you in your walk over the years. Ask for opportunities to encourage others too.

Pray for Compassion, an organisation that aims to release children from poverty, in Jesus' name. Ask that the gospel continues to go out as they do their work.
