New City Youth is a group for high schoolers to get to know Jesus, build friendships, and explore the life that Jesus brings.

WE LOVE…

Hanging out with people of all kinds - eating, having fun, making memories

Listening to God as we read and chat about the Bible

Talking to God about our lives as we pray to him

Encouraging each other to live as followers of Jesus in our everyday lives

Where: Ann Street Presbyterian Church (ministry centre @ 143 Ann St, Brisbane)

When: Fridays during term 7:00-8:45pm (come hang out from 6:45pm)

WHAT TO EXPECT AT NEW CITY YOUTH
We want to help youth to know Jesus in the context of good relationships. This happens at two levels:

• big group - we want to build a community that’s centred around Jesus, and where we love each other and have fun together. We’ll eat, play games, hear from the Bible, and have a few surprises

• small groups - we want to have smaller spaces where leaders and youth can get to know each other better, and support and encourage each other as we step closer to Jesus. Here, we’ll talk about life, read the Bible and think about what it’s saying to us, pray for each other, and form close friendships

FOR PARENTS

At Ann Street, we are committed to caring for young people and keeping them safe. All of our staff and volunteers hold Blue Cards, and have completed child protection training. You can find out more about our child safety policies at the PresSafe website
