These evenings for eight persons provide the opportunity
for members of the Ann Street Congregation to meet
socially and enjoy each other’s company in a home
environment.
The meal is mutually catered, with host supplying the
main course, while guests provide additional items - eg:
drinks, dessert, nibbles etc.
Hosts often conduct dinners on two occasions, with
differing guest lists each time. This broadens
opportunities for members of the congregation to get to
know each other better and provides great fellowship.
These dinners of eight are usually held during the
cooler months, from April to October. On these
Occasions, conversations flow freely and harmoniously in
a Christian atmosphere and are thoroughly enjoyed by all
present.
