The Ann Street Presbyterian Association, with twenty-four (24) members meet on the second Tuesday of each month, excluding January and December, in the church hall at 9.30am for morning tea. This is then followed by a 10am Meeting.
Our branch of the Ann Street P.W.A is affiliated with the Queensland P.W.A of Australia. Delegates for our unit attend monthly P.W.A Council Meetings. The Queensland P.W.A unit is affiliated with our federal unit of the P.W.A of Australia, as well and delegates from both units are appointed to the Federal Conference, held every four years, in the place and time of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Australia.
Twice a year, the branches within the Presbytery, meet for a rally, while the Annual General Meeting of the state unit, and are held in Brisbane, at the time of the meeting of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. This time affords us the opportunity of meeting members from around the state.
We provide morning tea and lunch for State Functions, held in our church, such as our Annual Communion Service and Conference.
Apart from giving some financial help to our own church’s specials needs, such as the Organ Restoration Fund and General Mission Programme, the work of the Presbyterian Inland Mission and the Royal Flying Doctors service are amongst the wider work of the church, we support.
